Mrs Rebecca Coulter

Vice Principal

Rebecca graduated with a degree in Music in 1999 and went on to complete her PGCE at the University of Cambridge. She began her teaching career in Kent, as Head of Music at schools in Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells.

Following a relocation to Norfolk with her family, Rebecca took up the post of Assistant Principal, Director of Sixth Form with the Inspiration Trust. Under her leadership, Sixth Form provision improved rapidly and significantly, gaining national recognition as one of the top performing Sixth Forms for progress in the UK. As Vice Principal, she was responsible for securing outstanding academy standards, overseeing pastoral care, including Child Protection and teaching and learning.

Prior to joining Jumeirah College, Rebecca was Assistant Principal at Kings’ School Al Barsha. Here she led the pastoral system, oversaw Key Stage 4 attainment and was responsible for the curriculum design and implementation of the Sixth Form. Rebecca’s key interests are staff development, specifically evidence based learning, and post 16 education. She is currently completing her NPQH with the Institute of Education.
