Greetings from School Transport Services LLC (STS)

I am confident you will share our delight and satisfaction in the fact that, since the launch of our services, a large number of parents of children studying in Jumeirah College have entrusted to us the responsibility of transporting their children to and from school every day. We deeply appreciate the trust and confidence you have reposed in us. There are many reasons why you should continue to extend the relationship you have fostered with STS into the new academic session of 2009-2010. (And we hope that those who have not experienced the benefits of this relationship will take the opportunity to do so in the new academic year.)

  STS, which operates the fleet of Bright Bus Transport in Dubai, has a proven track-record of over 50 years of safe and secure transportation of thousands of children. STS now provides this service to over 30 schools and the tourist industry as well – further proof of the growing confidence and trust in the service we provide.
• Research has proved conclusively that travelling by ‘school bus’ is much safer than travelling in peak hour traffic by personal transport, reduces traffic congestion on the roads and at parking areas in the school.
• Utilising the transport service provided by STS frees you from the responsibility of conducting your children to and from school on busy working days.
• While we take special pride in our commitment to the safety and security of the children who travel in our buses, we are working hard to upgrade all our vehicles to meet the stringent RTA specifications. Effective September 2009, all our buses will feature RTA requirements: the distinguishing yellow colour, Speed Control Systems, Stop Arms and many other. The buses deployed at Jumeirah College will be installed with Global Positioning System which enables us to monitor the movement of the buses at all times. Folding seats will be removed. All bus drivers will have a ‘School Bus Driver Permit’ issued by the RTA. Our Research and Development Department is constantly studying international safety standards.

  We maintain a close strategic relationship with the schools where we provide transportation, which help us in maintaining order and discipline on the buses. We encourage schools to provide conductors and supervisors on the buses who have developed a special relationship with the students and who go out of their way to ensure their comfort, safety and security.
• 
  Our commitment to excellence is not confined to the mere act of picking up and dropping off your children. We are concerned with broader issues of travel and transportation in the city of Dubai and this was reflected in the Road Safety Campaign organised by us from December 2008 to May 2009. A large
  number of students, schools and colleges participated in the campaign. The award function held at GEMS Wellington International School on 16th May 2009 was well attended. We honoured the drivers for their best performance, honesty and loyalty. 65 students from various schools and colleges in the UAE who won awards in the inter-school / college competitions were awarded prizes by Mr. Eisa Abdul Rahman Al Dousary, Chief Executive Officer, Public Transport Agency, Road & Transport Authority. Mr. Dousary and other dignitaries were highly appreciative of the performance and credibility of School Transport Services LLC. The Chief Executive Officer, Road & Transport Authority in his key note address advised the parents to use school buses for the commutation of their children as it is the safest mode of transportation. Owing to our commitment to providing your children with comfortable and safe travel in accordance with the specifications laid down by the RTA, it will be necessary to reduce the number of seats in each bus. Therefore it is important for you to act quickly to ENSURE THAT YOUR CHILD/WARD HAS A PLACE ON ONE OF OUR UPGRADED BUSES FOR THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR BEGINNING IN SEPTEMBER 2009 BY REGISTERING BEFORE AUGUST 15TH, 2009.

Thereafter, provision of registration for transportation will be
based purely on the availability of seats in the buses.
